Briar Rose Winery is located in Temecula, California and has the proud distinction of being the Temecula Valley's premier boutique winery. We strive to produce handcrafted, small lot, premium, artisan wines made from the most intensely flavored grapes from our lush vineyards.
Many years ago before real estate developers discovered Temecula, the valley was dotted with small, family owned farms, orchards, and vineyards. Our winery is the fruition of owner's Les and Dorian Linkogle's lifelong dream and marks a return to those idyllic times as Temecula's first, reservation only (click here to make) winery.
In a sense the Linkogle's have come full circle and want to celebrate the return to a small, family-owned business. We welcome you to enjoy our wines, wander the gardens and savor the enchantment. You will walk away not with just a the best wine tasting experience, but a memory.
Annually, we produce about 2,400 cases, some of which have received "cult wine" status by wine connoisseurs. Specializing in red varietals, the estate-grown offerings include an intense award winning Estate Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and a super Tuscan blend. Other offerings include a lively, fruity Sangiovese and Merlot. Our white varietals include a Viognier, and a Fume Blanc. Our newest release is a sweet and effervescent wine lager called "Talking Frog".
